Whats the best gift you received when you were pg or when the baby was born?

My friend is having a baby [1st child].
I am doing her up a basket of all the lotions and potions I used on my son when he was born [and still do].

I want to add a little something extra for her.
Her baby will be born in Sept [Spring in Australia] and was wondering whats the best gift you were given when your child/ren were born?
The reason I am doing lotions and that is because she doesn't have alot of money and has no idea of what to use.
So I thought that lotions and that were a good idea with bath stuff and things that I am still using when my son is 15months old.

Depends how much you want to spend.

My grandmother did up a basket just like you for my aunty, but she wrapped up all the items separately. then she wrapped up some nice earrings and put them at the bottom of basket so she woul dhave a suprise when she finished opening all the baby stuff.

Me personally, Im 36 weeks pregnant.. and pretty much have bought everything myself and noone threw me a baby shower so I dont know.
Im sure she will love it no matter what.. I would
