15 month old had an accident?

My 15 month old son got liquid stiches this afternoon after tripping and hitting the corner of our dvd center. He had a good size gash but not to large to where they used liquid stiches. My concern is they didnt xray or ct scan his head, He hit it hard but did not pass out or anything. I have on the back of my mind that he did something to his little noggin/brain. And the doc said he should be fine b.c babies and toddlers have basketball like heads and brains. Would you be worried it you were me? He has been acting fine and like a normal boy, but being a mom I am worried, Thanks

It's a wonder we ever make it through childhood, isn't it! I'm not going to tell you not to worry, because I know you will anyway. Just rest assured that you are a good mommy. You know your child better than anyone else. If you feel like he's not okay, then you push for treatment. It's scary when they fall, even scarier when there's big boo-boos. God knows I've been there with my children. He will be fine! This is only the beginning, momma!
