Cot or Moses basket?
I have had conflickting advise on using both Moses baskets and cots for newborn babies.
I would like to know;
1.Do I need to use a Moses basket?
2.Can I use a cot straight away(120x60cm)?

Hi thre, i see a lot of ppl are saying to you to use a moses basket before the cot, well im a first time mum, and was in a state of panic about everything i would need, i got both, and to be honest you only need the cot, just wrap baby up in a shawl so he/she feels snug, i put my daughter in her basket and it was convient to move around the house, but she wasnt in in it for long and i found it a waste of money, a baby has to get used to sleeping alone in a quiet room, that was my big mistake as you got to get them used to cot and puting them to sleep as when they reach the age from basket to cot your baby will not want you to let you out his or her sight. Next time round for me im puting my baby straight into the cot.Regarding the link you added abut the baby tec sleep support mattress , no you dont need one of those either, just a normal cot mattress,so dont panic what you need honey thats what i did and ive hardly used any of it, save you money, good luck with the delivery and take care in the mean time and spend money on something nice for yourself lol xxxx
