The entire time when my brother was telling my family this his fiance had her head down, she couldn't look my mother in the eye when my brother was telling the story.

So my question is, was her family trying to send a message to us that the baby is going to be raised as a christian. Is that the sort of thing that christian kids get Baptized in?

Is it just a big joke. Or is my brother just naive?
Or are they poking fun at him being Jewish?
